Got called out to a pub today where their back door lock had failed. They were using a 3 lever mortice lock and the levers had gone so it couldn't be locked over night, a member of staff had to stay at the pub all night to make sure nothing happened.

Once I arrived I noticed straight away there was a second mortice lock a British Standard lock. When I spoke to the manager he wasn't even aware the lock existed. I recommended replacing the second lock soon as it was a high standard then the 3 lever lock I had been subcontracted to replace.
